MyNeta
Public Election Transparency Initiative

About MyNeta

See what candidates across India told the state about their money, their schooling and any court cases. The same facts for everyone. No side taken.

Our Mission & Purpose

MyNeta is a free, open tool. It shows what candidates tell the state about themselves, laid out clearly and built for a phone.

Before each election every candidate files a form. It lists what they own, what they owe, where they studied and any court cases. We lay those forms out clearly so you can decide for yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Where does candidate information come from?

MyNeta combines candidate election affidavits with official parliamentary and election records, public datasets, and attributed sources such as ADR/MyNeta, PRS Legislative Research, Wikipedia, and Wikidata. Every domain keeps its own source and disclosure label.

Is this data pre-loaded, or fetched live?

Stable identity rosters are versioned with the app. Source documents used for enrichment are fetched by server-side ingestion, pinned to a revision where possible, and cached in object storage; opening a profile reuses that cache instead of repeatedly fetching the upstream page.
