Parliamentary record
Records we have ingested from Parliament and from PRS Legislative Research. Counts describe what the sources recorded and what we have read from them. They are not scores of effectiveness, and they are not ranked.
Coverage
Source-limited · 41,503 rows counted across 8 of 8 record setsRecords are published from the source, period and geography stated next to this figure, but that scope is not the whole real-world record. A missing record here does not mean the event did not happen. Every count below is of the live rows held in that collection. Parliament and PRS publish different houses, sessions and record types, so this is not complete real-world parliamentary coverage. A low or zero count describes our ingestion, never whether an event happened.

Where these records come from
Questions, answers, bills and committees are read from the Parliament of India record at sansad.in. Member activity counts are published by PRS Legislative Research (MP Track, CC BY 4.0) and are reproduced as that source states them. They are not our own measurement.
Data corresponds to the period from 24-06-2024 to 04-08-2026.
PRS reports attendance for 485 of the 544 member rows we hold. A count the publisher did not report stays unreported here. It is never read as zero.
We do not rank or score members on any of these counts. How many questions a member asked is a record of what was tabled, not a measure of how well they did their job, and these figures cannot show what any one member caused.
